7 Steps to Transforming Your Body from Blah to Beautiful!

You will not only look great, but you will feel awesome, your confidence will go up,your health will be much better, and you will inspires others to take on their own body transforming journey.It’s not the easiest thing to do but it can be done.

I experienced my own body transformation that changed my life and without these 7 steps it wouldn’t have been possible. So let’s get started!

7 Steps to Transforming Your Body

Step 1 – Believe in Yourself. 

The first step starts with you.  No one else can make you start this journey. You must be brutally honest with yourself and sure this is what you want. Look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I’m ready to make a change.” You’ll know if you’re telling yourself the truth or not.  It’s all up to you.  You are in control. 

Step 2 – What’s Your Higher Purpose?

It’s really important to find the true motivation behind your goal.  At some point during your journey, you may lose focus, but by knowing your purpose it will get you right back on track.Ask yourself these two questions:

– Why do I want to transform my body?

– Why is this important to me?

Write these answers down and refer back to them frequently.  This will give you a good reminder on the meaning behind everything you do.

Step 3 – Get Support and Cut the Fat.

It’s a lonely road when you are out there on your own.  I found it easiest to let everyone know my goals. Some of you may feel uncomfortable telling people. That’s okay.  But it is important to know who supports you and to surround yourself with positive people. On the other hand, you may come across those who don’t support you and say, “You are wasting your time,” “You can’t do it,” or “You’re being ridiculous.” Cut those negative people out of your life and pay no attention to their negativity.

Step 4 – Attack the Problems.

Now that you’ve set the foundation of your body transformation, it is time to build on it.  But where do you start?  When it comes to transforming your body it is important to start an exercise routine and look into healthier eating habits. Personally, I’ve always been into working out but it wasn’t until I attacked my problems with nutrition did I start to see the results I wanted.  Getting on an exercise routine and a healthier diet is a must.  You cannot focus only on one without the other – they go hand in hand in order to achieve a total body transformation.

Step 5 – Be Consistent.

Being good for one day doesn’t give you the okay to go off the path the next day.  If you ate one bad meal during the day, throwing the rest of the day away won’t help. John C. Maxwell said, “Small disciplines repeated with consistency every day lead to great achievements gained slowly over time.”  When it comes to exercise and diet, it is essential to be consistent or else you will only frustrate yourself and create doubt you cannot do it.  It’s a good thing you wrote down your higher purpose behind why you are on this journey, right?

Step 6 – Patience is Really a Virtue.

There will be times during your journey when you will feel like throwing in the towel.  Maybe the weight isn’t coming off as fast as you wanted or you are struggling with exercising on a consistent basis.  Be patient and keep working at it.  One of my ultimate frustrations was that I wasn’t seeing the changes in my body I wanted.  I worked out all the time and ate really healthy, but it wasn’t getting me anywhere.  Then a good friend of mine told me to be patient and that the change I want is right around the corner. So I stopped worrying about it so much and sure enough I began seeing the results. Be patient.

Step 7 – Celebrate Your Successes.

It’s hard when the positive things you do go unrecognized by others, so make sure you recognize them yourself.  Let’s say you ate healthy and exercised consistently through the whole week – go ahead and enjoy a dessert after dinner.  Or what if you set a goal of losing 8 lbs in a month and you accomplish it? Awesome, buy yourself something new like a new pair of workout shoes.  Celebrating your success will show you the continuous progress you are making during your journey.

The start of a journey is just as important as the end.  These 7 steps are here to give you a head-start on your way to an ultimate body transformation.
