Unleash Your Inner Beast

We all have an inner beast waiting to come out. Keep reading and you will understand what I mean.

Everyday we get caught up in our daily routines. We focus on the things that must be done – laundry, dishes, cleaning etc…

The thing we forget about the most is to be who we are. In fact, most of us do not know who we are or what we enjoy doing because we have become accustomed to the way our lives have turned out. We have let the world around us begin to mold us into the people we are.

The great thing is, at any moment, you have the power to make the decision to change.

Release Your Inner BeastYou can release your inner beast!

Now, when I say beast, I don’t mean busting out like the Incredible Hulk or anything far fetched. I am referring to releasing the gifts and talents God has given you. The gifts He created for you that are so special because no one else has them. The gifts and talents that are a part of us and make us feel like we can conquer the world. That, my friends, is your inner beast. That is what you need to focus on.

We are all a little good at some things, but there is a skill that you possess that you can do like no other. Ever heard the saying, “Stop majoring in minor things?” Maybe you are a skilled laundry put-away-er (is that a word?) But, the fact of the matter is, that’s surely not what you are best at.

Yes, the laundry does need to be done – nobody likes to wear dirty underwear. But you should not let focusing on daily chores keep you from finding the time to achieve your goals and dreams.

What I am saying is, I encourage you to hire help! Even if it is just a few hours a week to help fold laundry, or do dishes, or clean the house, so you have more time to focus on doing the things you actually want to do.

Stop trying to be the super hero!

When you try to be a super hero and don’t reach out for help, you end up feeling resentment toward other people who are doing what they want to do. Don’t sit back wishing you had time to “enjoy life”. You do! Yes, you really do have that option!

If you think your dream is not worth it or you don’t have the money, I get it! I completely understand. I was there a few months ago, before I hired someone to come clean my house.

I literally could not focus on work because the dusty table would bother me. If the shower hadn’t been cleaned in a week, I would stop what I was doing to clean it. Cleaning the house was a huge distraction for me. I could spend 2 hours a day cleaning, easily. My boyfriend insisted I hire someone because I complained about it all time.

I hated doing it, but it was distracting and took up too much of my time. Once I stopped being a super hero and hired someone, I was able to focus on my business and have a completely different frame of mind when I sat down to work. I was so much more productive, so the small fee was worth it.

Today, I encourage you to find the thing that distracts you or takes up most of your time and eliminate it. I want you to focus on “you” and what “you” have to offer the world. Focus and expand on the things that you are great at.

Release your inner beast!

Until next time! ~Jessica
